Adrian was born and raised in Hobart and has worked in the Tasmanian real estate industry since 1990. He is the CEO and one of the founders of View Real Estate which is an independent agency comprising seven sales and property management offices across Tasmania. Adrian’s real estate experience covers a broad range including residential sales, property management and commercial sales including hotels and motels. He is also an accomplished auctioneer having spent a number of years as a full-time auctioneer within his own business specialising in plant and equipment and asset sales for local councils and finance companies. Adrian is a licenced Real Estate Agent, Board Member of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania as well as a past President of the REIT having served in that role for four years. He also sits on the national Board being the Real Estate Institute of Australia and has recently finished three years as the national President. He is both an Associate and Fellow of the REIA and also sits on the Property Agents Board which is the regulatory authority in Tasmania.

Alan Halliwell is the principal of Halliwell Property Agents in Devonport. He has been in the industry for 17 years and has been the President of the REIT NW Branch for 5 years. Alan takes pride in being able to give back to the industry via his position on the REIT State board and is happy to help members in any way he can. He hopes to continue to serve REIT members for many more years to come. Alan has gained significant experience and knowledge over the years and is available to members in an advisory capacity.

Chris McGregor joined the Real Estate Industry in 1986. Chris was the Managing Director of First National Real Estate McGregor from 1994 until June 2020 when he merged with 4ONE4 Property Co. Chris has served on the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania (REIT) Board since 1989 and was elected State President from 1998 – 2000. He also served on the Real Estate Institute of Australia Board. Chris is a REIT Trainer and Auctioneer. Chris is currently the National Australian Vice President for FIABCI. Chris is a Fellow of the Real Estate of Institute of Australia. Chris was the 2009 Recipient of the Prestigious John Greig Trophy for Service to the Real Estate Industry and the 2022 REIT AFE Presidents Award. Chris is also a Life Member of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania.

David Russell is a director and a property consultant at Harcourts Burnie. The Harcourts philosophy is what first attracted David to the company. Their professionalism and integrity is second to none. David believes that you must choose an agent that you feel comfortable with. David had a diverse career path before deciding to come to Tasmania from Victoria in 1977. He was the manager of a hotel in Burnie for 10 years before finding his niche in real estate. Since becoming and agent in the late 1990’s David enjoys the challenge of this industry and finds it a good talking point as well. Dealing with people is another aspect that David enjoys about working in property. He has a proven track record in sales and is well known in the community and rural circles. David has been breeding stud Hereford cattle for years including champions at many shows. David is also a keen home renovator.

John began his Real Estate Career at the reception desk in 2005 and has since become an ‘in demand’ Real Estate Author, Commentator, Marketing Specialist and sought-after Industry Consultant. John and his award-winning team have been responsible for managing, buying and selling property to the rave reviews of clients all across the country, culminating in hundreds of millions of dollars worth of real estate. As a result of John’s tireless efforts mentoring the youth in his area, and working with charities and other activities, he was presented the Glenorchy Young Citizen of the Year Award. John has a Diploma in Property and is the President of the REIT Southern Branch and a member of FIABCI International.

Marnie demonstrates an exceptional level of industry knowledge and experience, having begun her Real Estate career in 2006.  Marnie is 100% client focussed and believes face-to-face customer service, where possible, remains key in Real Estate dealings.  Marnie is a member of the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania (REIT Southern Branch), Australian Vice President of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), local member of the Lenah Valley Community Association and a serving Reservist in the Australian Army. 

Early in his career, Russell gained insights and understanding to the real estate industry, with advertising roles at The Advocate and later for Domain.com.au. His real estate career began in 2017, he completed his Diploma of Property Services soon after, holding a Real Estate Agent licence from 2019 and became a director of the business. In 2020, Russell joined the REIT Southern branch and then REIT state board in 2021. Russell currently is a director and business owner of View Real Estate in Hobart, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an Alderman at the Glenorchy City Council.
