Pathway to the industry (Property Representatives) 1st August 2021 onwards

All new property representatives with licences granted on or after 1 August 2021 will be required to successfully complete the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

 

Below is an overview of the requirements as prescribed by the Property Agents Board:

 

  • The individual passes the Property Agents Board exam, applies for and is granted a Property Representative licence
  • The individual is then required to complete the Certificate IV qualification within 3 years under the following terms (time frame to vary depending on the conditions of each individual’s licence):
  • The (5) core units must be completed within 12 -24 months of becoming licenced

and

  • The remaining (13) elective units within the following 12 months (varying time frame for each individual).
