In Class Course

The Real Estate Institute of Tasmania offers a course for either Assistant Property Managers (Rentals) or Property Consultants (Sales) to assist them in meeting the legal requirements to work in the real estate industry.

The courses offered by the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania provide the knowledge to assist in the development of skills needed to effectively undertake the roles of property consultant or assistant property manager.

Course Prerequisites:

Satisfactory completion of secondary school year 10 or equivalent workplace experience. Demonstration of a reasonable level of comprehension and oral and written literacy in the English language.

Course Cost: $590

Course Structure:

34 - 39 hours over 6-8 sessions,

Evening sessions normally run 6-9pm over 5 consecutive weeks at the conclusion of the course an exam must be completed with the Property Agents Board (please contact the PAB for exam costs).

Day sessions mostly run 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm, over 3 consecutive weeks at the conclusion of the course an exam must be completed with the Property Agents Board (please contact the PAB for exam costs).

Every second scheduled course in each region is an evening course.

Courses offered approximately 5 weekly in Hobart and 2 monthly in Launceston and Ulverstone.
